Kiwi II Construction Inc, founded in 1982, is the brainchild of New Zealand residents Peter Brady and Larry Mingins.Eventually the guys from down under made their way to California and started making strides in the self storage industry. Kiwi II quickly became involved in the self storage industry on a large scale all over America, doing installations nationwide specializing in standing seam metal roofs on a large range of commercial and residential buildings.

In 1990s Larry Mingins headed back to New Zealand , Brady stayed on the West Coast and continued the business in America until the two reunited in 2003 to start up Kiwi II Construction ( NZ ) Inc.

Kiwi II Constuction ( NZ ) Inc was formed to solely to serve the growing self storage market in New Zealand and Australia. it became obvious to us after building our 1 st Storage in New Zealand that the knowledge we have gathered in the US , over 20 plus years of designing and building storage , the systems and designs we have developed here for purpose built storage are a long way in front of the existing designs begin used in most cases in New Zealand & Australia.

As a compliment to the systems that we use , we can use our Buying Power here in the States with over 4,500,000 sq ft per year to make shipping certain products from here to keep the job cost effective as possible.
